This stylish, comfortably furnished 5-room wooden cottage (85 m²) is located in the small mountain settlement of Prkenný Důl, near a forest and a mountain stream, just a short distance from two ski resorts. One is suitable for experienced skiers, while the other is perfect for children and beginners. We rent the cottage exclusively to one group at a time, and the owner does not reside on the premises. Even outside the ski season, you will find peace in this beautiful part of our highest mountains. The surroundings invite you to go for walks in the hills, spend time in the garden, celebrate, hold team-building events, or even host weddings.
We offer weekly and weekend stays. If you visit outside the main season and stay on weekdays only, you can enjoy a discount for each night.
Late check-out is possible by prior arrangement and is offered free of charge outside the summer season, depending on whether we expect new guests on the same day.
Come in autumn, when nature is full of colors and mushroom picking is at its best. Don’t miss spring either, when the landscape comes alive with fresh greenery and blooming flowers. Both seasons are magical and refreshing.
The cottage can accommodate up to 12 people (10 beds and 2 extra beds). A baby cot is available free of charge upon request.
In summer, there are tennis courts 300 m from the cottage. A natural pond for swimming is 350 m away. Near the cottage, you’ll find football, nohejbal (Czech soccer-tennis), volleyball, tennis, and badminton courts. Year-round, you can access a fitness club, massages, and wellness facilities.
There is a spacious veranda with a couch and a hallway. The living room (30 m²) is equipped with a sofa set, a dining area for 8 people, a fireplace (not in use), and a TV+SAT. From here, you can access a covered terrace with outdoor seating. The living room also includes a visually separated kitchenette, which features a dishwasher, electric stove (4 burners, oven), fridge, microwave, coffee machine, electric kettle, and iron. The pantry next to the kitchen contains a washing machine and dryer. The water supply comes from the main water line.
On the ground floor, there is also a separate toilet and a bedroom with a bathroom (shower, sink, toilet – boiler 2x 100 l):

The cottage offers free internet access (Wi-Fi). Heating: Underfloor heating + electric radiators.
In the unfenced garden behind the cottage (800 m²), you’ll find an above-ground circular pool (3 m in diameter, in operation July–August; if the weather is good, it is available from June to the end of September), sun loungers by the pool, a table tennis table, a gazebo with outdoor seating, a portable garden grill, a fire pit, swings, and a wooden, lockable sandbox. The Sněžný stream flows through the garden, providing endless fun for children who can float toy boats. Adults can recharge by enjoying the peace, the view of the forest, and the surrounding nature.
A herb garden with lemon balm, mint, and chives is at your disposal.
The cottage is equipped with a variety of outdoor games as well as board games for indoor play. There are also toys and arts and crafts materials for children. Older children and adults have the opportunity to create their own decorations, such as a "tree of life."
For Christmas and Easter, we offer themed arts and crafts sessions.
